How Often to Clean a Pool Skimmer Basket
Empty pool skimmer baskets at least once or twice a week during swim season — daily or every 2 to 3 days during leaf-fall, after storms, or when the pool gets heavy use. A full skimmer chokes the pump and reduces filtration.
